Shipping and Returns

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

All orders within the United States will be shipped via USPS; charges for standard shipping
(2-9 business days) and handling are as follows:

up to $10.00 - $2.95
10.01 to $50.00 - $3.95
50.01 to $100.00 - $5.95
100.01 to 200.00 - $7.95

Priority Mail by USPS is also available (2-3 business days). The rates are as follows:
Most orders can be shipped at a flat rate of $5.15.
Larger orders will be shipped at a flat rate of $9.25, but only when they cannot easily be fit into a smaller flat rate box.

If, on rare occasion, an order cannot be shipped in one flat-rate package, I will make a judgement as to the most beneficial method of shipment.
This may be shipping in two separate flat-rate boxes, or calculating postage for one large box that is not a "flat-rate" box.
You will be contacted immediately in either case and informed of the exact shippping cost.

International Shipping

I am willing to ship orders internationally, and will do so at the fairest rate possible.
Please feel free to contact me if you are ordering from outside of the U.S. and I will supply you with shipping costs to your country or region.

You may also wish to use the currency converter link below to get an idea on how much items cost in your currency, although when you place an order, this will be done automatically through the PayPal check-out,
and I cannot guarantee that the two numbers will be exactly the same. However, both Oanda and PayPal have reputations of being very accurate.

When ordering crocheted chokers, your charges will be based on the dollar amount for each choker before any additional charges for "add-ons" (such as scalloped edging).
In other words, if you ordered 2 crocheted chokers at $25.00 each,
and added scalloped edging to one of them for the additional add-on fee,
your shipping and handling charges would still be based on a $50.00 purchase amount. Your shipping amount would not be "bumped up" to the next higher bracket, even though technically, your order amount would allow that.
The same is true of custom orders: your shipping charges will be based on a standard price, rather than the total after any customization fee has been added.

This feature may or may not make a difference in your shipping charges, but the intent is that my customers will not pay more in shipping fees simply for customizing an item. The customization fee stands alone, is the complete charge for that service, and will not impact your total shipping cost. Because that's the way I want it to be.

RETURN/REFUND POLICY

I am happy to stand behind every item I make. If you are ever disatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me through the contact page.

A full refund less shipping charges will be given on any defective items for up to 1 year from purchase date.
You may also choose to have the defective item replaced with another item that is the same or similar.
There will be no shipping or handling charges incurred for replacement of items deemed to have been of defective quality.

Because I offer a generous return/refund policy, I must be very clear that those items that appear to have been mishandled or abused will not be considered under the return/refund policy.

I am, however, willing to repair damaged items, and in some cases will do so at no cost, or at a very nominal repair fee.

In every circumstance, I will do everything possible to ensure a positive outcome for you!
