Fantasy, Myth, and Magical Creatures

Welcome to the fantasy pages of I Bequeath Thee!
Here is where we shall delve into one of my favorite inspirations of all - the fanciful realm of all things mythical, magical, and of course, beautiful!
Whether it be the beloved fairies, or dragons, maidens, and bravehearted knights, moonlight and twilight will most certainly be the preferred time to peruse the pages that follow here, as these do seem to be the best times for encountering the misty realm of otherworlds!
I have loved fairies since I was a very young child and can remember going to the library and scouring the shelves to find every book on the subject that was there!
As I grew older, my love for fantasy naturally led me to the Medievil world with all its lore and magic, pageantry and lush beauty!

The Lady and The Unicorn - Domenico Zampieri
I suppose this is why much of my jewelry will take on the rich colors and fantasy elements of the Medievil period, when life as a reality was harsh, but mystery and romance flourished! Ahhh...wouldn't we trade our modern amenities for the castles and lavish costume of the era? (Alright, never mind that I'd most likely have been a common wench in gunnysack!)
You may also notice that I am especially enamored with those things that sparkle and glitter and are ever-so-small and delicate..that would be the influence of my fairy muses!
I am certain they sneak into my dreams at night and swirl all sorts of lovely shades of unearthly colors together; so that when I wake the next morning I can hardly wait to run to my stash of beads and try to recreate the beautful chaos that is swarming about in my imagination!
I hope that you, too, have an appreciation for all those things which exist just beyond our convenient vision, somewhere amid the shadowy twilight...
and magic of moonlight,
where fairies dance,
and dragons lie...
where women are Ladies,
and men - Knights in Shining Armor;
where Elves freely roam,
and unicorns live on forever!

Misty air, that clouds my eyes,
and leaves my skin moist and cold... just veils the vision before me now
yet I am certain of what I see... this beautiful sight is no fantasy...

It is always an inspiration to see the talents of others!

Spikey-haired Dragon, Worthless Knight
is the creation of an aspiring cartoonist in Finland, and I can't recommend it highly enough! Imagine a Knight who has had this curse placed upon him: He can never use a weapon unless he slays a dragon! Sounds funny already, eh? The ensuing storyline is original and witty, and the writer has an engagingly dry sense of humor! Although, be forewarned, it isn't always and only funny...
